Dildo Rides for Intense, Hands-Free Orgasms
It is no secret that the dildo is one of the most widely used sex toys in the world, and for a very good reason. The reason for their simplicity is that they are simple. Nothing needs to be worried about in terms of difficulty of use. There are so many different types of flowers (literal or figurative) that can be enjoyed in a variety of ways; a great deal of delight is always possible.
The use of a dildo for many people does not go much further than holding it and moving it back and forth from one hand to the other. There is another way of having fun that is even more intense than simple riding - learning how to actually ride a dildo.
You to accomplish this goal will need to choose the right type of dildo. Suction cup models are, in most cases, the ones people will use. The other thing to do in order to get the 'true' riding experience is improving some form of riding technique; different riding positions should all be at least partially explored. Other sex toys can be seen as extensions of this macho riding you eventually wish to master.
Our easy-to-follow guide is meant to help take you through this process. Riding (of any and all forms) will always be a personal journey, but one that we all can and should enjoy. Starting that adventure is the beginning of true pleasure.
Riding a Suction Cup Dildo
There is no doubt that using a dildo with a suction cup is the easiest way to ride one. Dildos can be attached to almost any smooth surface - anything and everything that utilizes a simple suction cup. A wooden floor, table, or even a mirror (to spice it up) would all work perfectly for this method.
The flexible placement of this kind of toy allows for numerous different sex positions to be explored. The 'perfect' suction cup position is what you're looking for; moving the body back and forth continuously is the follow up to that initial placement. Full or near full stimulation is possible.
Once the right position is found, the simple back and forth motion is all that is needed.
Scratching only the very surface of what suction cup dildos can do. Hands free technology of some sort is a real plus; focusing on the body (and all that it can provide) is the end goal. Personal pleasure, to me at least, is the true reward.
Best Positions for Riding a Dildo
You can try out all sorts of different positions when you ride your dildo instead of just using it in the more 'normal' way. Almost any limitation is removed; imagination is the only true boundary!
These are some of the more popular positions to start with:
- Cowgirl: Placing the dildo on the floor is the simple option, riding it being as close to a real cowgirl position as possible.
- Reverse Cowgirl: Essentially the same concept, backwards riding being the secondary form of stimulation. G-spots or P-spots would most likely receive that extra all encompassing stimulation.
- Chair Cowgirl: A chair attached to the dildo gives you much more room to ride, faster and more freely. The actual position the dildo takes can give that 'standing up' type feeling.
- Kneeling Doggy Style: Getting the right placement of the dildo is key here, hands and knees style you get the full doggy experience.
- Standing Doggy Style: Raising the dildo slightly and keeping that standing position works well for me at least.
Other positions are and will always be possible. Dildos (to me at least) are a partnerless pleasure to be explored. Put it where it belongs and enjoy.
Dildo Riding Techniques to Maximize Pleasure
It is pretty easy to ride a dildo; simply operating it is that simple. The real question then becomes, how do you make the most of your learning process in order to maximize some form of pleasure? The following are a few easy ways you can try to get that smoother, more pleasant process going:
Use Lube: Performing any kind of anal play calls for lube. Even vaginal penetration benefits from at least some type of lube - inserting and subsequently riding the dildo should be as smooth as possible.
Experiment With Positions:
Riding a dildo properly requires a certain amount of time spent experimenting; getting stuck in one position is the opposite of ideal. The near-constant feeling of being 'amazed' can happen to anyone at least once.
Choose The Right Dildo To Ride:
Which dildo you 'should' ride is a near impossible question to answer. Trying out various options is the best path to finding what works for you.
Most people prefer longer dildos, easier to ride as they are, but pushing that length too far can lead to painful rides.
A thin girth (width) is generally preferred when choosing a dildo (animal or otherwise). Extremely large dildos are hard to ride, physically and mentally.
Carefully consider all the information previously given. Flexibility in a dildo is a large part of 'ease of riding'.
Experiment with textures and all round designs! Ribbed, ridged, fantasy style dildos all have their place. Angles and/or depths of riding are all part of the experience. Dildo riding, to me at least, is a true pleasure to explore.

How to Ride Non-Suction Dildos?
You may be able to ride your regular dildo using some form of suction, but what if you don't have one? Is it still possible to 'ride' that same regular one? There are plenty of other ways to ride various sex toys, the method previously described being just one of them. To some extent more difficult forms of riding are still achievable.
I have found one of the easiest ways to do this to simply hold the dildo in the position you want and then 'ride away' from it. No doubt it's not ideal, limitations on all forms of movement will occur, going hard won't be possible, but for the most part normal use will be very similar.

Here are some creative solutions:
- Pillow Power: Holding the dildo in place is the key part; placing it between two objects (folded pillow, two pillows, any soft supported enclosure) will help keep your head up when sleeping. Substitutes for a dildo itself are not the end goal, movement and/or position are what you're trying to achieve. Keeping the dildo from moving is important.
- Harness Helper: Other dildos can be made rideable through a simple strap-on harness - attaching it to a saddle or chair is perfect. Grinding against the near constant surface of a large pillow or chair is all part of the experience. Turning the harness inside out completely removes the 'riding' aspect you may have wanted, but to me at least it still feels good.
- DIY Suction: A more complex solution I think you'll like: turn your existing dildo into a suction type. Strong glue or small sticky pads can be used to attach the two together. Follow all the above advice and enjoy riding!
Riding a Dildo With a Partner
You don't have to ride a dildo by yourself! Dildo riding can be enjoyed by the entire family. Trying a wide range of 'things' during sex with your partner is completely possible; both of you having a good time is the end goal.
One of the more common forms of oral sex occurs during a typical sexual encounter. Placing a dildo on the floor and riding up and down it is a perfect example of this - the pleasure your partner enjoys from your actions can be shared, at least partially, while you yourself enjoy the more direct physical stimulation.
A dildo delves into the concept of some form of double penetration. Thinking one simple penetration may not satisfy all your needs, using a dildo opens up that very specific type of exploration. Riding cowgirl style would be one way to achieve this; anal penetration from your partner while riding, is still a very much desired outcome.
There are many ways to learn how to ride a dildo; simple, easy (to at least begin with) and fun are the primary reasons I suggest it. Personal trainers are a near perfect solution if you already own one, or want to. If not, our collection of dildos is waiting for you to find that 'ideal' one you've been looking for. Personal or otherwise, try it out.
